Info
The insert / cover is very cool. It looks hand-painted (mine looks different from the one in the picture below from their web page.) It is a gold and purple abstract. Speaking of abstract, you should hear this music. Well, its not abstract, but it sure is a different kind of animal. The music is electronic. It opens with a noisy reverberation, but then smooths out to some nice calm but complicated beats, offbeats, and spacey keyboard wash. What sound at first like percussion, turns out to be more like little blips and bleeps. They hold their own against drum sounds. The keys really roll around, take up a lot of space, and spread out wherever they want in a languid yet exploratory sort of way. I have to give some credit to the person who recorded and mixed this music. Great job. Sounds awesome in the head phones. You really get the effect of different little sounds and details in each ear. This music takes you places. They're all OK places to be. I really think this would be accented by chemical enhancement, but you make your choice on that one. The overall feel of the recording is very mysterious and experimental. This is mad scientist in space stuff. It certainly held my attention. I love the intros. They really set the stage for this weirdness. I love the noisyness, and how it morphs into something cohesive. Great job. I am certainly going to put this in the CD player again.
